Campaigns Committee

Our Campaigns Committee is the key body for our members to organize around our various active campaigns (and to launch new ones). From the FABRIC Act to Protect DTLA’s Garment Jobs to ARAMP, LA’s Garment & Fashion Industry Program to coalition work with Sanctuary LA and Safety Net for All, this is the space where garment workers come together to develop strategies and tactics and deepen their analysis. 

GWC’s Campaigns Committee has been active since 2022, with organizer and former garment worker Gloria Miguel as the lead staff organizer.
